PURIM 2011
~ ArchiParhiTura Revival~
Earlier that week….
Ingenuity, applied cutting edge skills, advanced engineering combined with a creative flair and an innate ability to anticipate the needs of the future. Here, Technion architecture students take it to the wild side as they prepare for the Jewish festival of Purim. No skills are spared in creating the giant floats that will form a festive procession on Monday 21st March 2011, from Technion City, through Haifa and down to the Technion’s historic building in Hadar, where the Technion’s first cornerstone was laid nearly 100 years ago. Watch the preparations! (Video courtesy of Technion architecture student Guy Shahar).
