Interview with Distinguished Prof. Aaron Ciechanover, of Technion’s Rappaport Faculty of Medicine Head of Technion’s Integrative Cancer Research Center. Prof. Ciechanover won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2004 together with Technion’s Distinguished Prof. Avram Hershko and Irwin Rose, of the Fox Chase Cancer Center,for the discovery of the ubiquitin system.

The Technion is one of the few institutions in the world that brings together biology and life science expertise together with top-level physical sciences and engineering that can help win the battle against cancer, including: the Faculty of Medicine with its wonderful life sciences research, Computer Science for processing large data sets, Electrical Engineering and Physics in order to develop devices for diagnoses and imaging, and Mathematics for new algorithms.
